Vision

1. Establish communication between the state council, Florida AORN chapters and members through discussions at meetings, exchange of chapter newsletters, and other correspondence, networking and chapter visits.
2. Encourage open communication between officers and members through all levels of AORN regarding education needs and chapter needs, thereby enhancing the organization.
3. Monitor and disseminate information regarding national, state and local legislative issues that impact upon perioperative nursing issues and our everyday lives.
4. Coordinate and share information on educational offerings to avoid the repetition of topics and conflict of dates.
5. Provide forum for interaction between our members and our industry partners to exchange ideas, as well as to introduce new products and technology.  This ensures and enhances safe, quality care for our patients and a safe, efficient and cost-effective environment for all members of the perioperative team.
